During the Summerburst Music Festival in Stockholm, Sweden, the Canadian singer nearly escape getting hit in the head with a flying object after he refused to perform his latest collaboration with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. “I can’t do ‘Despacito,'” Bieber can be heard telling fans after the song was requested. “I don’t even know it.”
Surprisingly, the singer, who is known to storm off-stage, simply addressed the audience, “Don’t throw things at me, please.” Back in 2013, the hitmaker was pelted with a water bottle during a concert at Arena Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil. Although there were no injuries, the incident caused the “Sorry” singer to drop his mic and he stormed off stage.
While the big collaboration continues heating up the charts around the world, the demand for the hit has also increased. Bieber recently surprised fan at 1Oak with live performance of some of his songs, including “Despacito. Although the songwriter nailed the English portion of the song, when he got to the Spanish chorus, he began flubbing the lyrics and improvised with a lot of “blah, blah, blah.”
