Jimmy Kimmel Asked A-Rod About J.Lo

“My daughters think their dad’s a hero now, for the first time.”

Retired baseball star Alex Rodriguez was a recent guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and their discussion took a sharp turn very early in the interview. Rodriguez went from discussing his potential Baseball Hall of Fame induction to his relationship with Jennifer Lopez because, duh. Kimmel didn’t waste any time making Rodriguez squirm, asking him personal questions about “sexy time” with J.Lo. The two of them looked like a couple of bros talking relationships. Kimmel suggested that Rodriguez deserved an entire wing of the Hall of Fame simply for getting into a relationship with Lopez. After some back and forth about their private lives, Kimmel asked Rodriguez which of his friends had the biggest reaction when learning about A-Rod’s relationship with Lopez. Rodriguez admitted that his daughters were the most excited.

“It’s amazing. They think they went to heaven,” Rodriguez explains. “Now they’re hanging with Jennifer backstage. They’re dancing [and] they’re singing with her.”

Rodriguez then acted out what a typical FaceTime call with his daughters would look like. Basically, whenever his daughters call, it’s not to speak with their father. Instead, Rodriguez says, they spend the whole time looking around for Lopez. When they realize she isn’t in the room, they quickly hang up and try again later. Tbh, who wouldn’t do that if their dad was dating J.Lo?
