PHOENIX — Kathy Cano-Murillo, The Crafty Chica, is celebrating Hispanic Heritage month in September by launching her Día de los Muertos-themed product line.
Cano-Murillo is an artist, author and celebrated blogger owner of CraftyChica.com, and her brand new line includes beautiful bright color appliques, papers, embellishments and craft kits themed around the popular Mexican-holiday, Día de los Muertos.
Her inspiration derives from her heritage and culture. Her dramatic use of vivid color, combined with traditional images, has a universal appeal. Her award-winning web site features more than 3,000 craft tutorials ranging from painting to sewing to shrine-making.
As an “all-American Latina,” her mission is to spread creativity through positivity, which she does every day with her uplifting blog posts.
