Grand Finale for Phoenix Fashion Week 2013

October 5, 2013 – The grand finale of Phoenix Fashion Week took place this Saturday, October 5. Fashionistas gathered at the Talking Stick Resort Hotel and Casino in Scottsdale, Arizona for the final night of Established and Emerging Designer shows.

The finale featured evening wear collections from established designers including Stop Staring, Joy Li, Blaque Label, Mariska, Michelle Jonas and Hour Glass Apparel. Emerging designers featured were Joli Richard, Jones Select and a crowd favorite, Silvia Bours.

Cocktails and food were served to guests as they mingled and shared their excitement for a night filled with glamour, entertainment, and the passion for fashion.

Luxury swimwear designer Dolcessa was also named the winner of the 2013 Emerging Designer Contest winning a prize package valued at more than $10,000 with services and products that will help her launch her line.

Fashion Week showcased fashion from designers based in the valley as well as from around the world. Designers from Manilla, Mexico, New York, Los Angeles, and many more all showcased their best work on the runway.

Besides watching the fashion shows, this year’s guests were able to shop at the Style Villa, which was provided by Michael Kors. Twelve different booths were set up displaying items that guests could purchase while enjoying the event, all from emerging and established designers, local boutiques, and different fashion brands.
