Grammy-Award Winning Group Los Van Van Performing Live in Scottsdale

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Livewire announces Los Van Van will perform Wednesday, June 8. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. This is an 18+ event. Tickets are available now at Livewireaz.com.

Los Van Van is one of the most influential Cuban bands in the world, with a long history that begins over 50 years ago in the 1960s. The original members of the band include Juan Formell, César “Pupy” Pedroso and José Luis “Changuito” Quintana. The group incorporated rock, soul and pop into traditional Cuban music and became a sensation across the world, even winning a Grammy award in 1999 for their album, Llegó Van Van. Over the years, they have released dozens of albums, and even after the death of band leader, Juan Formell, in 2014, they have continued to tour and release music.
