Got Moves? Audition to be Part of the Phoenix Suns Dance Team!

If you’re hoping to become a Phoenix Suns Dancer next season, auditions will be held on Saturday, August 9 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale.

Prep classes are recommended for those that are interested. They’ll be held throughout the summer at US Airways Center, beginning Tuesday, May 20.

Saturday, August 2 (12:30 – 3 p.m., registration begins at 12 p.m.)

Each prep class will take candidates through a mock audition and will cover everything needed to know prior to the August auditions. The class will consist of a warm-up, a 30-minute workout, a sideline and choreographed routine taught by a current Suns Dancer or guest choreographer, a freestyle practice, and discussions covering fitness, nutrition, appearance, headshots and resume writing.

You can register for prep classes by visiting www.Suns.com/prep. The class is $25 per participant with a cash payment to be collected upon your arrival. Candidates are required to bring their own dance attire and shoes with non-marking soles. Dancers much also be 17 years or older to participate in a prep class (those that are 17 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).

All prep classes are from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. (excluding the class on August 2), with registration beginning a half-hour prior to the start of the class.
