Go Gray This Fall

If there is one definitive color that most designers would pick for these upcoming fall/winter 2014-2015 seasons, it would no doubt be gray. From a lighter, more subdued hue of light gray to a super dark shade, this color was channeled in various forms on the runways of designers such as Michael Kors, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton and Chanel, just to name a few.  Any true fashionista should carry this color in her wardrobe.  And why is it all over the runways you may ask? Easy, it is the new go to neutral for this season. It can be rocked head to toe, wearing a trendy light gray elongated coat with knee high dark gray boots.  Plus, being a neutral color, it can be mixed with other colors of the season, greens, blues and even red.  But if dressing head to toe in gray is not your thing, there are other ways to wear this trend in subtle but stylish way. Every girl should have a reason for a new handbag in her closet right? And what better way then a gray handbag that can go with any outfit. Splurge a little this season with this gorgeous Saint Laurent Small Canvas Monogram in the darker shade of gray.  

 Or, if you want to save a little, but still get that must have gray handbag, this Calvin Klein tote in a lighter gray will still make a statement with any outfit.

Walking into to department stores and boutiques, the trend of gray is everywhere you look. Shoes are no exception to this trend. Or, if you would like a shoe for a fun night out with the chicas, gray can come in a texturized snake pattern form in these Michael Kors heels, great statement making heels, that can be worn with a gray cocktail dress with a black leather jacket for more edge and you are ready for a night out on the town! 

Gray is not a color that most people would have picked for the color of fall.  But there is definitely something luxurious about the color, which gives that elegance to any outfit. Whether it be a an evening dress with added lace and tulle or a tailored chic blazer for the office look every day, shades of gray have come to life this season and it’s time to embrace the new trend!
