She’s the face of Cover Girl, sings alongside with PitBull in the hit song “Can’t get enough”, was nominated for being one of Latina Magazine’s 30 under 30 and is making her way to the top of the charts. 17-year-old Becky G. is the new Latina singer whose catchy hit single “Shower” will make you want to literally sing in the shower.
Here are five ways Becky G has proven to be the next “It” Latina.
1. She keeps family close
Throughout many interviews, Becky always says how her family is very close. Her parents and her are best friends and no matter how famous she gets, she’ll always remain a family gal.
2. She is a foodie.
Becky has no shame eating all of her favorite foods. When she is traveling the world, she is always looking for the best places to eat at. And you can bet she will keep it spicy by adding her favorite condiment, hot sauce! But nothing beats her mom’s home-cooked meals.
3. She is learning from the artist who never fails to start the party—Mr. World Wide!
Becky G said in a recent interview about Mr. World Wide is working with him is like having another Tio. While the two were collaborating his piece of advice to her was to remember to stay a good person throughout her journey as an artist.
4. She can rock the rapper look.
5. And of course the glamorous look.
But above all else, she reminded us of the fun of singing in the shower.
