During the past 30 years, everything that we thought we knew about eating healthy and exercise is entirely WRONG.

The movie FED UP is about to open the eyes of audiences in theaters nationally this May 9th.

FED UP is a movie about the food industry, whom themselves do not want you to watch.

From Katie Couric, Laurie David, producer of the Oscar-winning movie An Inconvenient Truth, and Director Stephanie Soechtig, FED UP will change the way we eat forever.

“I think FED UP does a really good job laying out the landscape of issues that contribute to our problem, and I say ‘our’ problem because this problem impacts all of us,” she said.

Nutritionists and other obesity experts have seen an immense amount of patients seeking help on their clinics for the past years.

The percentage of people overweight, which used to be a rare exception than a norm, has increased overwhelmingly and this movie uncovers many of the false concepts on this epidemic.

David hopes audiences will feel as though enough is enough with this issue.

“I am fed up and I hope everyone that watches the movie will feel that way, too… one in three kids expected to have diabetes by mid-century is UNACCEPTABLE. It is a tragedy when you understand that it is also completely PREVENTABLE,” she said.

Latinos will also have the opportunity to see a Spanish version of FED UP narrated by Mexican film and television actor/director Kuno Becker.

“It’s troubling to learn that obesity is among the leading killers in Mexico where I come from and that here, in the U.S., Hispanic obesity rates outpace those of non Latinos,” said Becker.  “I’m tremendously proud to partner with RADiUS-TWC on FED UP and do my part so that the Hispanic community and our nation at large can start to make educated decisions about the food they are eating.”

Becker directed his first feature film PANIC 5 BRAVO this year, which premiered at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.  He is best known among U.S. Hispanic audiences for his portrayal of Ruben Berrizabal in Televisa’s ratings juggernaut telenovela Soñadoras and Santiago Muñez in Disney’s soccer trilogy “Goal!”
