February’s Top 10 Things to Do in Phoenix
February isn’t only for love birds! This month is also kicking off with tons of events for anyone. From the world-class excitement of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, to the grand celebration of the Dominican Republic’s Independence Day, February has something for everyone!

Waste Management Phoenix Open
It’s the Greatest Show on Grass! The WM Phoenix Open, brought to you by Waste Management, in partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian Community, is just around the corner. It has everyone revving up for an entire week of sport, sunshine, and sustainability. Not only can you expect to see some fantastic PGA professionals out on the green – and participating in the “The Colosseum” or “the loudest hole in golf” – but a portion of the proceeds from the WM Phoenix Open go to various charities as well. Whether you’re a golf fanatic, or just looking to enjoy a relaxing day in the beautiful springtime weather, there’s no better place to spend it than at the WM Phoenix Open!

Monster Energy Supercross
Monster Energy AMA Supercros, an FIM World Championship, is revving up to take center stage at the University of Phoenix Stadium on February 6 for the first time ever. Some of the best pilots in the world of supercross will be competing for the coveted 450SX Class crown, including Ryan Dungey, Chad Reed, Ken Rockzen, among others.

Glendale Chocolate Affaire
Get ready to get chocolate wasted before Valentine’s Day even comes along! A delicious delight for the senses is taking over downtown Glendale and it’s a chocolate-lover’s dream. The Glendale Chocolate Affaire will gather chocolate makers from Arizona and around the nation. Visitors will enjoy a long list of treats including chocolate truffles, sweet potato fries with chocolate and brown sugar glaze, and tropical hot chocolate!

The Sleeping Beauty with Ballet Arizona
Ballet Arizona’s “The Sleeping Beauty” is making a grand return to Symphony Hall February 11 – 14. With music from the Phoenix Symphony, “The Sleeping Beauty” displays all the charms and grandeur of classical ballet with stunning costumes, dazzling sets, and Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score.

Luis Coronel and Jesus Mendoza for Valentine’s Day
Imagine yourself being serenated on Valentine’s Day by none other than Luis Coronel – it’s every girl’s dream, and it’s coming to Phoenix. The 20-year-old American Regional Mexican singer will be performing at the Legends Event Center on February 13 next to singer Jesus Mendoza. The best part? Tickets start at only $40!

The Valentine’s Salsa/Bachata Festival
You know we have to give you more than one option to celebrate Valentine’s Day. And if you’re a lover of salsa, bachata, and kizomba — then this is the event for you! Mambo Exquisite and KP Latin Productions are teaming up to bring a night of Latin flavor to Phoenix on February 13. The event includes live music from Ritmo Latino, an appearance by New York City’s Gary Portugal, an all bachata room with DJ River, and an all-salsa room with DJ D-Lo. Need we say more? The Amazing Arizona Comic Con 2016
The Amazing! Arizona Comic Con is kicking off its 2016 fan season this February 12. The event, now in its sixth year, will run for three days. With a giant exhibition hall, an international artist gallery, a video game arena, and (of course) hundreds of folks in their best costumes — admission starts at just $25!

Fifth Annual Gran Gala Dominicana con Wilfrido Vargas

The Lowrider Magazine Arizona Super Show is rolling into the University of Phoenix Stadium this February.
