Donald Trump Might Bring Campaign Back to Phoenix

Donald Trump is considering bringing his campaign back to the Valley.

The GOP presidential candidate stopped by the Phoenix Convention Center earlier in July and according to a spokesperson for the venue, his team has been in contact with them in regards to a second event.

On Thursday, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton released the following statement on the potential return of Trump to Phoenix:

Phoenix. He has a First Amendment right to spew vile rhetoric, but his brand of increasingly overt racism is in complete contrast to our values as a city.”

The business mogul has been in hot water most recently for his proposal to bar all Muslims from entering the U.S.

Since, he’s been blasted by his presidential rivals, with Jeb Bush calling him “unhinged” and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie saying it’s a “ridiculous position.”
