Logan Carson (9)

We can define Logan as magical. At his 9 years of age, he’s defeated adversity many times. A couple years ago, Logan lost an eye, a leg, a couple fingers, and lost function of one of his kidneys. While on medication, his body burned from the inside out. Despite enduring this, he is an inspiration. He is charismatic, caring, generous, sensitive, extroverted, and an optimist. He doesn’t let anything stop him. Logan’s Make-A-Wish was to build a park or a playa rea for his community, something that had nothing to do with him. He makes sure that other kids have the opportunity to have fun and enjoy life. This, among other things, is what make Logan truly magical!

Megan Hansen (13)

Megan has worked continuously to provide materials, food, etc. to a center for homeless animals. To achieve her purpose, she started her own business called “Humane Lemonade”. However, because her lemonade stand is seasonal only, she is beginning a second business created on her own to help children receiving chemotherapy. She is an over achiever in school and extremely generous, creative and that truly deserves recognition.

Peighton isn’t scared to defend those that are being treated unfairly or to console those that feel hopeless on certain social scenarios. In today’s world, it’s these acts of kindness that are considered absolutely magical.
