The Confident singer teased the single last week on social media with a 30-second clip of the instrumentals. The summer number had a bass and electronic rhythm to it. From the vocals to the tunes this song will make you channel your inner feminist and girl power.

The former Disney star is unapologetically owning her independence as a woman in her new music. On the eve of the song’s debut, the Mexican-American powerhouse took to Twitter on Tuesday to share an open letter to her fans about the upcoming harmony. “No matter where we live or what our cultural backgrounds are, having emotional human connection and love are vital to our existence and survival. “Sorry Not Sorry,” is one of many songs that I’ve been working on,” she tweeted. Expressing her gratitude to her Lovatics, the pop star told fans, “This is an anthem for anyone who’s ever been hated on and has risen above it and come out from the other side like a fucking savage!” It’s no surprise she took a mindful and authentic approach to her music this time. From her Fabletics campaign to promoting her followers to respect individuality she truly on her way to being a legendary artist of our era.
