(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.)   The family of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States and to die from the same disease at a Dallas hospital, saluted the efforts of Rose Law Group to help achieve the best possible outcome for the family, in a national press conference earlier today.

According to Josephus Weeks, nephew to Duncan, Jana Weltzin at the Scottsdale, Arizona-based law firm was referred to the family following its successful representation of several former National Football League players in a recent fraud claim against large financial institutions.

“Rose Law Group cares about our family, they were very creative and moved fast to help us get the best results under incredibly stressful circumstances.  They moved swiftly and smartly on our behalf after the tragedy, even suggesting and framing how our family felt in an opinions piece for the Dallas Morning News,” said Weeks on Dallas News.

“The reaction to that piece was profound,” Weeks said.

“Our lawyers in Arizona got the ball rolling and the lawyers  in Texas did a great job achieving in short order the result our family sought and the circumstances surrounding Thomas Eric Duncan’s death deserves,” Weeks said.

According to firm founder Jordan Rose, Weltzin along with litigators Logan Elia and Sam Doncaster worked on the case.

“We work on many fascinating cases but to be able to use our skills to help a client like this achieve their objectives is why we all go to law school and practice with the passion we do,” Rose said.
