D-Backs Announce Details of Hispanic Heritage Day, Presented by Budweiser on October 3rd

(Phoenix, Ariz.) –The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks and @LosDbacks) will host Hispanic Heritage Day, presented by Budweiser and supported by Arizona Lottery, Cox Communications and Subway, next Saturday at Chase Field. Hispanic Heritage Day will feature a pregame APS Street Festival and postgame concert, presented by Sprint and Samsung Electronics America, by Mexican pop star Luis Coronel. In addition, the first 10,000 fans will receive a Los D-backs Soccer Jersey, courtesy of Pepsi.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the APS Street Festival that features an APS Cool Zone, live music, Folklorico dancers, Mariachi performers, interactive games, food trucks and the Bud Light Beer Garden Experience. Highlights of the Street Festival include a special performance by Joe Fata, a contestant on La Voz Kids, and local fare provided by El Guero Canelo. Located at Fourth St. and Jackson St., the APS Street Festival will begin at 2:00 p.m. and is free for fans of all ages. D-backs players are scheduled to stop by the street festival to sign autographs and take selfies with fans.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Hensley Beverage Company will present a $5,000 check to the American Legion Post 41 during a pregame ceremony on the field. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Day, D-backs players and coaches will wear Los D-backs jerseys which will be available for purchase at D-backs Authentics at section 141 along the main concourse. Net proceeds from the sale of all game-used items will benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.
Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game to enjoy a free postgame concert by Coronel on the field. He is a native of Tucson, Ariz. and was named 2014 Artist of the Year at the Latin Billboard Music Awards. He was recently recognized by Premios Lo Nuestro as the Regional Mexican Male Artist of the Year and received honors from Premios Juventud for Voice of the Moment and My Regional Mexican Artist. Also in 2014, he received the Feeling Social Award from Premios Tu Mundo for his exceptional social media following that includes more than 4.4 million followers on Facebook and 1.4 million on Instagram.
