"Con Mary Rábago” Celebrates Its First Year Anniversary of Reaching the Community with “Journalism with a Purpose”

Phoenix, AZ – On Sunday, October 5th “Con Mary Rábago” will be having a big celebration to mark its first year anniversary along with the community that has been and still is her motivation to keep working hard. “Journalism with a Purpose” is Mary Rábago’s everyday motto, as well as her commitment to her audience by providing them information with only the highest professionalism and with a purpose in mind: to keep them informed with all the pertinent information and news that will be helpful in their everyday lives, in their growth, and their development to finally achieve a successful life. 

“I’m very excited to see the response from the community during this first year in which I have been able to combine two of my passions in life, my community and my profession. One of my purposes in life has always been to be able to help and be close to my community, a community of hard working people that fights every day to do better; and this year of hard work has shown me that the biggest satisfactions in life it’s not our own success, but to see the success of those who are close to us and give us their love,” said Mary Rábago.

Mary Rábago has been awarded multiple times through her 20-year career,, in which she has earned not only the love, but also the respect and the admiration of the community, her coworkers, and the journalistic community nationally and internationally, and of those who have been with her through her career. Today, Mary Rábago, fulfills one more of her dreams and conquers a new challenge, to be an entrepreneur by creating the now renowned multimedia agency “Paloma Productions MR,” which offers clients creative and innovative solutions and produces her radio and TV show, both under the same name “Con Mary Rábago” where topics to empower the community are discussed in the following fields: Education, politics, health, finances and community. Topics that are important for our community.

“Mary is a professional journalist who has inspired the Latino community and now is breaking barriers, giving a new vision and purpose to Latino journalism,” said Elvira Espinoza, General Manager of MixedVoces.

During this event, the community will have access to a wide range of free services such as dental exams, high pressure and glucose exams, services and immigration lawyers, information on education for kids, drug prevention information, foreclosure prevention information, voter registration and more. There will be fun for all the family, gifts and entertainment by Grupo Caribe and Impacto X; Mariachi, folkloric ballet and more.
