‘Colombianos por Paul Penzone’: An Entire Community Coming Together to Elect a New Sheriff

“It’s time for a new Sheriff.”

That’s the message a group of Arizona Latinos is sharing with the community as they prepare for the upcoming event, “Colombianos for Penzone.” The event will be a meet and greet with Paul Penzone, candidate for Maricopa County Sheriff and the man giving Sheriff Joe Arpaio his toughest race yet.

It’s all happening Sunday, October 23rd at La Tiendita Cafe in Mesa. The event will give voters a chance to personally meet the candidate and/or show their support in the upcoming elections.

The event is being organized by Olga Zapata, Oscar de las Salas, Gabriel Villalobos, Ana Jimenez, Felipe Loffsner, Diana Prieto-Bernal and Marcela Prado.
