Cardinals to go all out in Season Finale against Seahawks

With the Arizona Cardinals 38-8 win over the Green Bay Packers over the weekend, Bruce Arian’s team clinched a bye in the playoffs.
The Cardinals still have a chance to be the number one seeded team, pending a loss by the Panthers this coming weekend.
But the Cardinals are not taking anything for granted and plan to go all out against the Seahawks in the last game of the season.
The Cardinals will host Seattle on Sunday January 3rd.
“To get a bye, whichever seed it is, it’s outstanding. That is the goal we set back in April in our first team meeting,” said Cardinals’ head coach Bruce Arians.
At the same time, Arians realizes that the team has not won anything yet and must play until the last down, “You don’t get rings for byes,” said the head coach.
Arizona’s quarterback Carson Palmer welcomes the bye week and is confident that the team will be ready to play on the second round, “I think one of the best parts about this is that B.A. (Bruce Arians) has been here before, he knows how to get his team ready,” said Palmer, “We’ll follow his lead, he will have us ready to play in the second round,” Palmer added.
Palmer is confident about his team’s chances to go far into the playoffs, he praised his teammates for all the grind they have gone through the season, “It’s a seven-day-a-week job with this group and we enjoy playing together,” said Palmer.
The Cardinals record stands now at 13-2 and control their own destiny.
“The best thing right now is we’re playing the best ball in the end of December, championship type of football now,” said linebacker Dwight Freeney.
Indeed the Cardinals are playing the best ball of the year and may as well finish as the best NFL team.
