Cardinals Start Training Camp; Football Around the Corner
By Francisco Romero. – Fresh from a season that watched the Arizona Cardinals finish 13-3 (2015) and a NFC Championship appearance, head coach Bruce Arians and his squad is looking to make the playoffs for the third year in a row.
The Cardinals added depth and will be a force to reckon with. Linebacker Chandler Jones was signed, he played last season in New England. On the offensive side the addition of veteran offensive guard Evan Mathis will solidify the offensive line.
Veteran quarterback Carson Palmer is healthy and ready to lead his squad, “There is a lot of good players in that locker room, and guys recognize it and I think that is really important, because a lot of times you have young guys that don’t quite realize the opportunity, but we have guys that realize that we have something special going,” said quarterback Carson Palmer before the first practice.
There is no doubt that Bruce Arians would like to make another run for a Super Bowl and if the team stays healthy there is no reason why the Cardinals can’t make a run at it, “I like what we have,” said head coach Bruce Arians.
The Cardinals lost last year’s NFC Conference Championship to the Carolina Panthers 49-15.
