Palmer finished the game completing 22 of 31 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

“It was a challenge preparing for them, it is a great environment to play; this place is awesome.”  “Great to get in here and get a win,” said Palmer during a postgame press conference.

Running back Stepfan Taylor had a great game as he caught a pass for a touch down and ran for another one.   He finished the game 40 rushing yards on 12 carries.

“I just got to prepare myself throughout the week for whatever happens and when my name is called just go out there and execute,” said Taylor after the game.

Pleased with the outcome and the position his team is, head coach Bruce Arians praised his team.

“Outstanding job by everyone who put on a hat today,” said Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians after the game.  “When you come on the road on the NFL nothing is easy, I thought we came out of the locker room with a lot of energy, with a lot of passion,” he added.

The raiders fought back in the second half of the game.  After being down 14-0 Oakland was able to get as close as 14-13.

“Got ourselves back into the football game here just before the end of the half and the kids did a good job of fighting back,” said Raiders head coach Tony Sparano.

The comeback was not enough and with the loss the Raiders are the only team without a win in the NFL with a record of 0-6 and in last place in the AFC West.

The Cardinals will host the Philadelphia Eagles next week.
