During an interview with AMP Radio, Camila Cabello was asked about Fifth Harmony’s first single as a foursome. “I’ve heard some snippets of it,” the former band member said. “I haven’t had a chance to hear the whole thing yet. But I thought it was pretty cool.”
The “Crying in the Club” singer was then asked whether she felt some type of way, hearing the song without her amazing vocals. “Not really, because I feel like it’s just been a natural evolution,” Cabello said. “I wish the best for them and I’m sure they’re going to kill it, and I’m super happy making my own music.”
The quartet debuted their latest single, “Down,” earlier this month, the first following Cabello unexpected departure back in December 2016. Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui collaborated with Gucci Mane on the long-awaited song. On June 2, the remaining girls debuted the hit when they paid a visit to Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series.
