Beyoncé Tops the FORBES Celebrity 100 List at Spot No. 1

Who runs the world? In the world of entertainment, that would be the very own Queen B.

Beyoncé was recognized in Forbe’s No. 1 spot on their Celebrity 100 list after an incredible year featuring a massive tour.

How massive? The singer played 95 shows, earning an average $2.4 million per performance. Her album titled simply Beyoncé hit iTunes with barely any publicity and topped the charts in sales.

The single “Drunk in Love” has gone platinum, selling more than 1 million copies.

But not only does Beyoncé excel in music, she is also a successful entrepreneur. Her business empire involves endorsing companies like H&M and Pepsi. She has a line of fragrances like Heat, Rise and Pulse and let’s not forget her clothing company House of Dereon, which features jeans, shoes and accessories.

All together, FORBES estimated that Beyoncé has earned $115 million between June 1, 2013 and June 1, 2014.

The FORBE’s Celebrity 100 list ranks the top stars from the world of movies, TV, music, sports, books and modeling based on money and fame.

Another factor considered for this list is the times the celebrity has been mentioned in media, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Other celebrities in the list were Lebron James, Dr. Dre and Ellen DeGeneres. Last year’s No. 1 in the list was Oprah Winfrey, which this year has fallen to fourth place with an estimated $82 million in earnings.
