Program summary: The Arizona Technology Council Foundation coordinates a science tech festival (AZ SciTech), with events happing throughout Arizona. State Farm is sponsoring a hands-on teen driver safety event as a part of the festival. Students will learn the consequences of distracted and impaired driving, and will also compete in a contest for the best teen driver safety PSA created by a students. The student creating the best PSA will receive a $1,000 scholarship. The AZ SciTech Festival was created to enhance STEM partnerships, increase youth/family understanding of STEM and how it impacts careers, and help raise students GPAs in Math and Science.
