A Recap on the 2014 MTV VMAs and How these Latinas stole the Spotlight

If you missed the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, then you didn’t get to see the wild ride millions of viewers were taken on.

From Ariana Grande’s opening act to Beyonce’s amazing 15-minute finale, the star-studded awards ceremony surprised many and left us wanting more.

Our beautiful Latinas weren’t far behind, as they made an impeccable appearance both on and off the stage.

Whose jaw didn’t drop when Jennifer Lopez walked down the red carpet looking nothing short of flawless in a shimmering Charbel Zoe gown with laser cut-outs. This woman celebrates her 45 years of age with perfection.

JLO also shared an aww-inspiring moment at the awards ceremony as she sat right behind her ex Casper Smart. The moment was caught on camera when he offered Lopez a handful of Skittles. We’re all wondering: are they or aren’t they back together? 

Our very own “It” girl, Becky G.  also took the spotlight as Covergirl’s spokesmodel giving viewers a behind-the-scenes scoop of the VMA’s all night long. The 17-year-old singer and rapper even took home the prize for best lips!

Miss Queen B was also a highlight of the night as she shut down all haters and silenced divorce rumors. Beyonce accepted the Vanguard Award with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy by her side. Props to her.
