Seven Arizona Cardinals Selected to Pro Bowl 2016

By Francisco Romero. – The Arizona Cardinals’ historic season continues; last Sunday the Cardinals established a franchise, 12 wins in a season, with still 2 games to be played in the regular season.

On Tuesday the NFL announced the Pro Bowl roster and seven members of the Arizona Cardinals were selected, thus becoming the team with the most selection to a Pro Bowl since the team moved to Arizona.

The players selected are the following: QB Carson Palmer, WR Larry Fitzgerald, Guard Mike Iupati, DT Calais Campbell, CB Patrick Peterson, Safety Tyrann Mathieu and special teamer Justin Bethel, RB Chris Johnson was picked as an alternate.

The Pro Bowl will be played in Hawaii on January 31st, 2016. If the Cardinals make it to the Super Bowl, the players will opt out of playing in the Pro Bowl.

The Carolina Panthers were the team with the most players selected for the Pro Bowl with 10.

This season the fans, players and coaches voted for the Pro Bowl roster.
