2015 Emmys Recap: Sofia Vergara Takes to Instagram to Document the Celebration

The 67th primetime Emmy awards made history this year.

The ceremony took place Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles, hosted by none other than “Saturday Night Live” star Andy Samberg.

And while there were major stunners at the red carpet, the award for cutest couple has to go to Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello.  

Sofia was at the ceremony supporting her “Modern Family” team, who was up for several awards, including outstanding comedy series and outstanding casting for a comedy series. Co-stars Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen were both nominated for outstanding support actor and actress awards.  While they didn’t pick up any honors, it still looks like everyone — including our lovely Colombiana — had a blast!

She took to her Instagram to share the highlights of the night — even her limo ride with her entourage. And if you were wondering what she wore to the red carpet, Vergara went for a tight metallic dress by St. John. It, of course, looked stunning as it hugged her every curve.

During the ceremony, she appeared to have had the case of the munchies, and even snuck in popcorn as what she calls, “contraband.”

Of course, we haven’t forgotten about her date, future-hubby “Magic Mike XXL” star Joe Manganiello. The 43-year-old shared a picture cozy next to her man and called him “the love of my life” as they enjoyed the Fox Emmy after party.
