20 Latino Celebrities Immortalized in Wax
You haven’t made it in Hollywood unless you have a wax figure. (Isn’t that the saying?) Whether on display at Madame Tussaud’s in New York City or elsewhere, celebrities are immortalized in wax form.

1. Romeo Santos

After a petition was put together by his adoring fans, Romeo Santos finally has his very own wax figure displayed in New York City. The unveiling of the “Imitadora” singer’s figure was also the first ever opening of a new experience in the Madame Tussaud’s NYC museum called Sabor Latino, a display dedicated exclusively to Latin music. His wax twin will join the ranks of J.Lo, Selena and Ricky Martin and we have his dedicated fans to thank for that!
2. Zoey Saldana
The 38-year-old Star Trek actress struck a pose next to her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, on April 7. Saldana wore a casual outfit, while her wax figure wore the same floor-length Versace dress the actress wore to the 2015 Academy Awards. Her mamá and hubby, Marco Perego, joined the mother-of-two, as she unveiled her waxy doppelganger.
3. Selena Quintanilla
Selena might have tragically left us 22 years ego, but thanks to Madame Tussauds the music icon has been immortalized. After more than 10,000 people signed a Change.org petition asking the museum to create a wax sculpture of the singer, the figure became a reality. The late Tejano singer’s family, including Selena’s widower, Chris Perez, brother, A.B. Quintanilla, and older sister, Suzette Arriaga, attended the big reveal at Madame Tussauds Hollywood back in August 2016.
4. Adriana Lima
The VS Angel passed down her wings to her wax figure. We can’t decide which is sexier. One thing is for certain: Even her wax version is blowing everyone out of the water!
5. Demi Lovato
The singer stopped by Madame Tussauds Hollywood to fan girl over her self in wax form. The figure is wearing an amazing leather outfit, as well as Lovato’s classic blue tint in her hair. She even has the same tattoos. If Demi didn’t have a doppleganger before, she does now.
6. Jennifer Lopez
This Boricua singer, actress, dancer and entrepreneur has too many wax figures for us to count. This is the newest in Lopez’s honor, unveiled for Madame Tussauds New York in January 2015. We’ll… let it speak for itself.
7. Ricky Martin
Puerto Rican legend Ricky Martin met his body double at famed Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. The singer couldn’t stop gushing over the likeness. “I look like me,” he posted on Instagram.
In order to create the elaborate waxwork, sculptors took over 500 measurements of the singer. Martin said that sitting down with the artists proved to be an extraordinary experience. His figure, which possesses his exact size and dimensions, will be removed to its permanent home in Orlando, Florida in the coming weeks.
8. Sofia Vergara
This sexy Colombian recently unveiled not only one but two wax figures at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in New York City. One of her wax figures will be displayed in NYC wearing the original dress she wore to the Met Gala in 2012 and the other will be in Las Vegas during the promotion for Modern Family Season 3.
9. Shakira
Yet another sexy Colombian makes the list! This sultry singer’s wax figure is displayed in the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Hollywood. Her wax figure is wearing a shimmery silver top to match her bubbly and fun personality.
10. Eva Longoria
Smoking hot in a red dress, Eva Longoria’s wax figure, displayed in Las Vegas, was inducted in honor of National Hispanic Heritage month in October 2010. The wax figure is wearing a replica of the dress Longoria wore to host the 2008 ALMA awards.
11. Carmelo Anthony
Immortalized and on display in his native NYC, “Melo” as most of his fans call him stands, he dons his Knicks uniform and looks like he’s about to deliver one of his game winning shots.
12. Salma Hayek
This Mexican superstar has multiple wax figures. This particular one shows off the star’s best assets, if you know what I mean. She has a very serious look in her eyes, looking like a true woman in charge!
13. Selena Gomez
Most famous for her role as Alex Russo in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena Gomez was immortalized and put on display in Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in New York City where she is side by side with her rumored on again and off again boyfriend, Justin Beiber.
14. Jessica Alba
Remember that time when Jessica Alba played Invisible Woman in the 2005 box office sensation Fantastic Four? You will with one look at this figure. Alba dons a skin-tight suit, blonde hair and icy blue eyes. The wax figure was unveiled in 2009 honoring Alba’s role in the movie.
15. George Lopez
The man whose job is to make people laugh, George Lopez, has a wax figure that was unveiled at the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Hollywood. His figure was unveiled to commemorate National Hispanic Heritage Month.
16. Christina Aguilera
Often referred to as the “Voice of her Generation,” this Ecuadorian beauty with an amazing voice has also joined the ranks of those immortalized by Madame Tussaud. Christina Aguilera’s wax figure was part of the “VIP Room” in the Times Square exhibition. Her wax figure was reveled in 2007 and very reminisced of her Back to Basics day.
17. Penelope Cruz
This Spanish bombshell has a wax figure that is being housed at one of the Madame Tussaud’s branches. Her wax figure shows off her beautiful dark hair and those big brown eyes.
18. Cameron Diaz
This Cuban, Hollywood superstar was set in wax next to her BFF Drew Barrymore in Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in London. Diaz wax figure was on display in 2008 with a set of powder girls simulated to be putting makeup on them.
19. Fergie
Wearing an outfit reminisced of her Black Eyed Peas days; Fergie looks fierce and ready to rock any stage in the world. Her curves are in full effect and can be seen at Madam Tussaud’s in Las Vegas.
20. Gloria Estefan
This Cuban superstar had a wax figure made of herself all the way back in 1991. The wax figure is very reminisced of the time when big hair and a lot of jewelry were in. Donning a red sequin pants and big curly hair, Estefan looks fierce and like a woman fully in charge!
