With just a few days away before the World Cup begins, Brazil is putting the finishing touches around the country to get ready to receive around 600,000 foreign tourists.
Newly built, Arena Corinthias or Arena de São Paulo (as it will be known during the World Cup) is described as a masterpiece. It will be the site of the Opening Game between Brazil and Croatia on June 12.
Locals describe the upcoming World Cup as “The Biggest Party Anyone Has Ever Seen.” Brazilians will be able to show the world their festive, happy and samba customs.
Not everything is about samba in Brazil as the country has vastly improved the country’s infrastructure, airports, and public transportation and built new stadiums to get ready for the upcoming World Cup.
Security is always an issue no matter how big or small an event is. Sao Paolo has built a new command center with modern surveillance technology and 600 cameras around the city. Around 170,000 security personnel (police, federal officers and private security) are expected to keep tourists and locals safe.
