A penny saved is a penny earned, and today this still applies. Some of us are more conscious than others when it comes to spending money and saving money, but before you make your next purchase consider what you are buying. Things have changed and products that we use to spend money on such as CD’s have became a thing of the past. The Internet allows users access to so many things for free that you may not need to spend money on things you have been. Here are a few things that we no longer have to pay for that equals a penny earned.
Books: Today we have items such as the Kindle that release free books that users can enjoy and may have not thought to read before.
Music: There are ways of listening to music with out illegally downloading it from sites such as Pandora or YouTube
Learning a Different Language: Online as well as often schools and cities host programs to teach different languages for free. The days of paying for classes or expensive videos and books are gone with so many more resources that cost nothing.
Weight Loss: Weight Loss sales pitches are everywhere for consumers to subscribe to, but with Apps from such markets as Android and Apple, weight loss journals and calorie counters exist for no cost at all.
It is impossible to avoid spending money all together, but recieve benefits from the money you spend by checking with the places you buy to sign up for a rewards card. From frozen yogurt to your favorite clothing stores reward cards exist and over time can give you a great discount or something free!
