‘Name Our Coworking Space' Contest Offers 1 Year Rent-free Office

Business owner Eric Diaz came to Phoenix with three priorities: To grow a successful digital marketing business; to foster a professional and personal social network; and to create a creative coworking space that incorporates healthy lifestyles to share with like-minded entrepreneurs.
To that end, he is offering a rent-free business space for 1 year to the creative professional who wins the ‘Name Our Coworking Space’ contest for the new building, located at 3428 N. 15th Ave. in Phoenix. The month-long contest starts Aug. 14 and ends on Sept. 13.
Contest entrants should submit a name that will brand what the coworking space, temporarily named Coworking on 15th Ave is all about. All submissions must be received by Sept. 13, via the Facebook page. Information about Coworking on 15th Ave, all contest terms and to submit a name can be found at www.facebook.com/coworkingon15th. A committee will select the name that best fits the entrepreneurial and collaborative dynamics of the building. The winning business owner and the winning name will be announced at the grand opening of Coworking on 15th Ave on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m.
Diaz says he decided to create a coworking space to enhance the business vibrancy of Phoenix because of the success of other coworking centers he has visited across the country. For example, he spent time visiting with owners of Creative Density in Denver, Quirk in Columbus, OH and CO+HOOTS in Phoenix.
Aside from the contest, he is currently leasing out affordable workspaces to creative start-up companies and “solopreneur” businesspeople who want a professional workspace, without a high price tag.
“Coworking on 15th Ave was created for hard-working people to get the job done without having to miss out on social interaction,” Diaz says. “Our mission is to provide workspace for entrepreneurs from all fields, who enjoy working in a collaborative environment conducive to a healthy lifestyle.”

We are located near downtown Phoenix and are on the 15th Avenue bike path.
