Award-Winning Business Training Firm Launches First Bilingual Entrepreneur Program in Phoenix
(Phoenix, Ariz.) – Compass Career and Business Solutions, Compass CBS for short, has been at the forefront of helping entrepreneurs start their businesses in the Phoenix community since 2012. They were the creators of the popular program at Hive@Central called the Business Roadmap Program, which reached over 3,000 participants and helped start around 40 businesses in one year. They recently partnered with Fuerza Local to help direct their Business Accelerator Program that runs twice a year for 24 lucky Hispanic business owners. Now, they are adding a new resource to the mix, the Business Energizer Series, a program designed to give an aspiring business owner the fundamental tools to launch a business in under 30 days!
Compass CBS was the recipient of the 2015 Hispanic Business Salute Award from Telemundo and Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in August. Edgar Olivo, Business Development Strategist and Bilingual Trainer for Compass CBS says, “This program is for those folks who don’t get selected into an incubator and want the tools now to get started.” Olivo also adds, “There are not many resources or trainings available in Spanish for Hispanic entrepreneurs and we can connect with them culturally. Many of them want to revamp their small business and find it difficult to get direction in their native language.” This program helps alleviate the problem of language and culture barriers as well as directing the participants to existing resources in the Phoenix entrepreneur ecosystem.
The first program kicks-off on October 6th and will be taught by top trainers and mentors from Compass CBS. Topics range from business planning, legal registrations, pricing strategies, branding, marketing, and sales training.
Entrepreneurs can register at www.compasscbs.com, classes are only $45 each and run for two hours in the evening starting at 6pm. The workshops will be hosted at Coworking on 15th Ave (3428 N. 15th Ave Phoenix, AZ). “We are looking forward to having our friends from Compass Career and Business Solutions provide trainings at our space,” says Eric Diaz from Coworking on 15th Ave.
