Whooping cough more common than you thought

Fall brings a lovely change of weather to the valley, unfortunately it also means the attack of cold season and other viruses that thrive this time of year. Ideally, everyone could live in a bubble and avoid exposure to the germs that surround us, however this is not practical. This season now more than ever it is important to get vaccinated against not just the flue but Pertussis (Whooping cough). There has been a trend of Whooping cough, Arizona has twice as many cases as previous years. Fortunately for everyone there are vaccines for both children and adults that will help prevent getting the disease.
