Study: Infant mortality rates remain high among Arizona’s African-Americans, American Indian and Hispanics

According to a recent study released by Arizona Department of Health Services, 11 out of every thousand African-American babies in Arizona die before their first birthday, which is nearly double the rate of any other racial group in the state.
