Sofía Vergara Shares Super Empowering Mammogram Selfie
Sofia Vergara is no stranger to supporting cancer relief efforts. The 45-year old actress who survived thyroid cancer at 28 has been outspoken about her own struggles with the disease and participated in a Stand Up 2 Cancer telethon. Now, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Modern Family star shared a pic of herself in front of a mammogram machine on Instagram to let women all over the world know “you have to do it!!!”

The EBY underwear box founder took a similar pic at her checkup in 2016, proving she is committed to taking her health seriously.
While perhaps not the most pleasant of experiences, the American Cancer Society recommends an annual mammogram for women between the ages of 45-54. Some women may start testing at 40.
