It seems that the skinny-high-fashion silhouette is slowly dying down, and today, more women are still looking towards plastic surgery to modify their physique.

But this time, they want more curves.

According to the Daily Mail, cosmetic salons have seen a huge increase in patients asking for fat transfer over the last 12 months, suggesting a rise in popularity for softer, more natural-looking cosmetic procedures.

The increase is a staggering 324 percent for this procedure, which consists of transferring unwanted fat from other areas of the body to the breast and hips.

Doctors say that Marilyn Monroe and Kim Kardashian’s figures are the ones cited the most for inspiration.

This rise in fat transfer procedure demands is a far departure from the trend of high fashion slim frames, say cosmetic surgeons.
