AIDS Walk Phoenix & 5k Run presented by Chicanos Por La Causa Luces Program October 21st is an opportunity to help bring awareness to the illumination of AIDS. Sponsors such as UNIVISION ARIZONA, 100.3 LA KALLE, and Walgreen’s will be present to help gather support and make the walk an unforgettable experience. CPLC will open their table at 7:00am with a light breakfast, snacks and drink for the walkers. Everyone will be meeting on 3rd and Washington, parking is free on Sundays. Registration for this event through CPLC is $20 which will include a free CPLC LUCES AIDS walk 2012 shirt. Registration online is $25 and does not include the shirt. Cash or Check are the best method of payments, checks should be made out to CPLC LUCES. You can also request a tax write off letter from CPLC in which case an address needs to be provided. Family members, friends and pets are encouraged to come! Family and friends will need to register however the event is pet friendly with no registration fee for animals along with rest stops for your pets.
