By: Jessica Danielle Ramirez
It’s time for the niños to head back to school! Schedules are tight and there is almost no time to prepare lunch during the week. Instead of stressing, try these simple meal tips that will leave the kids smiling from ear to ear, and might save you a few extra minutes through the week.
Sandwich Kabob:
It has the same effect as a sandwich, however this satisfying meal comes on a stick. Cut up squares of bread, cheese, meats (don’t forget the tomatoes) and skewer all the ingredients on a kabob stick. Get creative and add other veggies or meats, and even a picky eater would love it!
Chocolate stuffed raspberries:
This idea is a treat for the sweets lover. It’s simple. All you have to do is add a chocolate chip to the inside of the berry!
Peanut butter and jelly sushi roll:
Another way to make a classic sandwich, but sushi style! It’s incredibly easy to make as well. Just remove the crusts from bread and flatten the slices of bread with a rolling pan. Next, spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and jelly on each slice of the bread. Finally, roll each slice into a tight spire and cut into four pieces.
