Aside from the basic ingredients needed to build any delectable treat, this time of the year calls specifically for candy corn.

Halloween Candy Corn Bark:

What you’ll need:

  • 10 Halloween-colored Oreos chopped
  • 3/4 cup broken pretzel sticks
  • 12 ounce bag of white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • orange and brown sprinkles

Directions:

1. Line an 8×8 baking sheet with thin paper and lightly grease with non-stick cooking spray.

2. Spread the cookies and pretzels in the bottom of the pan.

3. Melt chocolate over a pan of boiling water.

4. Stir the chocolate until melted. Remove from the heat while there are still a few chunks, and stir until smooth.

5. Drizzle chocolate with a spoon over the remaining ingredients in the pan.

6. Gently spread the chocolate to an even coat.

7. Sprinkle candy corn and sprinkles over the chocolate.

8. Let cool until firm.

9. Break into pieces and store in a container.

Candy Corn Pretzel Hugs

What you’ll need:

  • Square-shaped pretzels
  • Hershey ‘s Hugs Kisses (the flavor depends on the occasion, but any flavor will do)
  • Candy corn

Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 250F degrees.

2.Line baking sheet across the cookie sheet.

3.Align pretzels on the sheet.

4.Unwrap Hugs and place one on top of each pretzel.

5.Stick in the oven until the hug begins to melt down. TIP: the kisses melts quickly so keep an eye on the oven. It usually takes about three to four minutes.

6.While the Hugs are melting in the oven, prepare your candy corn to be on top of the kisses.

7.Once the pretzel Hugs are out of the oven, gently press a candy corn down on each one. TIP: if the candy corns don’t melt easily, place the pan back in the oven for thirty more seconds.

8.Let the pretzel Hugs cool completely and let the chocolate set for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!
