¡Que Delicioso! End of Summer Chocolate Drinks to Enjoy

The days at the pool are slowly being numbered. While most of us can’t wait to start whipping together all things pumpkin and ginger, there’s still time to enjoy some tasty chocolate drinks under the sun.
So before you turn the oven on, try these fun and creative drinks with your amigas before the summer passes you by.
Spiked Frozen Mexican “Hot” Chocolate:
1 Ounce of Chocolate (Chopped)
2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
2 Tablespoons Sugar
½ Cup heavy cream
1 ½ Cups whole milk
1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1-3 Tablespoons Tequila
2 cups Ice Cubes
Instructions:
Mix all of the ingredients together (except tequila and ice cubes) over low heat in a pan until the chocolate, sugar, and cocoa has dissolved. Depending on taste, add more cayenne. Remove from the stove and put it in the refrigerator until it is very cold.
Add two cups of ice cubes, the cold hot chocolate, and the tequila to the blender. Blend until it’s slushy. Pour into glasses and add whipped cream.
Banana Cocktail:
3 oz dark chocolate liquer
2 oz crème liquer
1 oz crème de banana
½ oz spiced rum
Instructions:
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Stir and strain into shot glasses. Top them off with a slice of banana added to the rim.
