¡Que Chévere! Simon’s Colombian Style Hot Dogs Now in Scottsdale

At last, Simon’s Hot Dogs, the South American gem that was only found in Sedona, has finally made its way to Scottsdale! Known for its hot dogs and appetizers, the new Valley favorite is the latest restaurant addition to Old Town’s night-life.

For some customers, it’s a new experience, as they have never heard of food fusions like this. For Colombians, it’s exciting to know their favorite food is now only miles away. The seemingly endless toppings are what makes this restaurant stand out. So, depending on what you crave, Simon’s has a hot dog just for you

“In Colombia we make hot dogs with pineapple and mozzarella cheese,” said owner Felipe Roldan.

The idea was to sell only the Colombian hot dog; but Felipe and his family said a growing crave for other styles of hot dogs inspired them to expand their menu. There are four versions of the dog, which include beef, vegetarian, and pork. Not only can you choose the meat, but also the toppings – placing each entrée in its own category of deliciousness.

The Cowboy is for those who are fans of chili-dogs. Tokyo Madness includes teriyaki, onion, wasabi mayo, and toasted sushi nori. This special dog delivers flavors similar to sushi, as there are also pieces of seaweed in it.

The Hola Amigo is for those who enjoy a nice kick to each bite, with jalapenos and creamy avocado.

Aside from tasty hot dogs, there are some delicious appetizers that are also on the menu and are popular in Colombia.

“Salchipapas added to the menu and is fries with sliced meat and special sauce,” Roldan said.

Excellent any time of the day, Simon’s Hot Dogs is centered in the heart of Old Town where those who enjoy the night-life now have a tasty new place for a late-night snack.
