Some of Arizona’s best attractions are ever so enchanting and well hidden. Located in an exclusive setting, you can view the natural attractions of the Sonoran desert as you dine at on top of a mountain. Known for its alluring atmosphere, most make this location their go to spot for celebratory dinners. Now the luxurious eatery is offering an intimate dinner where the chef cooks a four to five course meal in front of your eyes.
As you begin the dining experience, all are welcomed to the reception hosted by the wine company and enjoy light hor d’oeuvres before being welcomed to take your seat.
This monthly event is held indoors and offers a top-of-the-line entrees prepared by Chef Anthony Demuro and pastry chef Lara Coleman. As each course is arranged, a wine pairing is served; and with the pairing includes a brief description of the drink and its background.
Listen in on the history of what you are sipping as you mingle with other foodies. If you are an adventurous eater, you’ll be in awe of what chef prepares from start to finish. The menu changes monthly, so you’ll be surprised for what is in store for the evening.
Dinner Series schedule:
January 15: Dave Guffy, wine maker for The Hess Collection. The Hess Collection focuses on producing exceptional wines from Bordeaux and Chardonnay varieties, farming estate vineyards on Mount Veeder, at the Allomi Vineyard in Pope Valley and at the Su’skol Vineyard in American Canyon, near San Pablo Bay.
February 5: Derek Summers, co-owner of family run Summer Estate Wines. Creating red-wine from grapes grown on small acreages in both Napa Valley and Knights Valley is the passion of Beth and Jim Summers. The signature wine offered by Summers Estate is a Charbono.
March 4: Chuck Carlson, owner of Carlson Wines, whose winemaking career in Santa Barbara County spans more than 34 years, including the past ten years as proprietor. Carlson Wines specializes in limited-edition wines like Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills, along with Cabernet Franc and several aromatic white wines from the Santa Ynez Valley.
April 1: Steven Nelson, wine maker for Chalk Hill, and his dedicated staff gently shepherd the grapes through the fermentation process to the bottle. With an estate wide, shared aesthetic, the process is light-handed, non-invasive, and sustainable – allowing each bottle to emulate the essence of the vineyard.
Choosing to dine here is a treat in itself. Whether you’re a wine lover or are looking for an awesome date night idea, there’s something for everyone’s palate and, of course, a “different point of view” in culinary.
