Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate at the comfort of home with family and close friends. Cooking is one of those special Thanksgiving rituals that families enjoy, but it can be time consuming and, in many cases, stressful. If you want to take it easy on Thanksgiving Day, but still have a hearty meal, we got you covered. Whether you decide to dine out or pickup a meal to share with your family, we have a list of restaurants to choose from that will make your Thanksgiving dinner stress free – allowing you to spend more time with your family and less time in the kitchen. For me, that’s a win-win!
Take out options
Picking up a whole prepared meal or a few side dishes is a great way to make your celebration a lot less time consuming, but definitely call ahead and reserve your food, as most restaurants require at least 48 hours of notice. However, most places will make a few extra dishes for those last minute shoppers.
The Market by Jennifer’s
Before opening the restaurant, Jennifer Russo was in the catering business. You can rest assured she is an expert on takeout meals. For Thanksgiving, she’s crafted a classic menu that feeds up to six people and includes a whole roasted turkey, artisan bread stuffing, classic herb whipped potatoes, sweet potatoes, Haricot Vert (green beans) with almonds and Arizona glazed carrots. The meal also includes a fresh lettuce and arugula salad, homemade bread, and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie.
