Santa Wine Around

On Thursday December 14th, from 5 to 9 pm, wine lovers can enjoy some festive wine tastings in Old town Scottsdale – including LDV Winery, Salvatore Vineyards, Carlson Creek and Su Vino Winery. And for anyone who wishes to wear their Santa outfit will get special discounts!

Simon’s Hot Dogs

The Colombian style hot dog trend is gaining popularity in town thanks to Simon’s. In this hot dog and hamburger joint you’ll find a variety of options for hot dog lovers, including vegan style! To celebrate the holidays, they’re including some traditional Colombian Christmas desserts that will be available at their store on December 17th as part of their one-year anniversary celebration. Enjoy arroz con leche, alfajores and patacones – all traditional Colombian antojitos.

On December 25th from 7 to 11 am, enjoy not only the food, but also the beautiful Arizona weather and a fantastic view of Camelback Mountain at the Omni Montelucia. Millie’s café is a Puerto Rican restaurant offering authentic food from La Isla del Encanto. You can also enjoy other Puerto Rican dishes such as pasteles, alcapurrias arroz con pollo, and their traditional holiday drink – the famous coquito.

Ticoz eclectic New Year Celebration

Ticoz Latin kitchen is offering a prix-fixe menu for new years for only $30 per person. It includes an appetizer, entrée, dessert and a glass of champagne. You can choose from their famous Guacammus (Guacamole with garlic hummus), calamari or lettuce wraps for your appetizer. The entrees include the all time favorites like the paella or the pork chile verde mac n cheese. Dessert includes your choice of churros or brownie. Talk about a great deal here!
