Expect More Arizona Welcomes Nuvia Enriquez as New Director of Multicultural Community Engagement

(Phoenix, Ariz.) – Expect More Arizona recently added Nuvia Enriquez to the team as the director of multicultural community engagement. As a nonprofit education advocacy organization, Expect More Arizona works with parents, educators and engaged citizens throughout the state to ensure a world-class education for all children.
In her new role, Enriquez will grow the diversity of the Expect More Arizona movement by cultivating relationships with businesses and nonprofit organizations, education groups, key elected leaders, multicultural organizations, parents and voters. She will also serve as the group’s spokesperson to Spanish-language media.
For more than seven years, Enriquez has successfully developed and maintained connections with media, consumers and partner organizations. Most recently, she was a manager with the Isac Amaya Foundation, where she directed eight volunteer staff, oversaw social media campaigns, organized public forums and managed media relationships, among other things.
Enriquez has also worked with Valley of the Sun United Way and Donor Network of Arizona in community-oriented roles. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and journalism from Arizona State University.
