The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Presents: Scottsdale Cinematheque
Perfect for adventurous movie-goers and lovers of fine cinema, Scottsdale Cinematheque showcases new independent, foreign and art films that are not screened at other Valley theaters. New films are introduced each month, with multiple screenings on selected weekends, all with reserved seating. Curated by Scottsdale International Film Festival Director Amy Ettinger, the Cinematheque series also will include occasional guest appearances and live-video discussions with filmmakers, when available.
The new independent, foreign and art films not yet screened at other Valley theaters will be making their Arizona premieres in the Center’s Stage 2 theater on select weekends from April through September. Screenings will have reserved seating and complimentary popcorn and iced tea.
