The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center (MAPC) has the pleasure to invite the community to celebrate a month dedicated to creating conscience on Parkinson at the opening reception and inaugural concert:

7th Annual Bruce Florence Parkinson’s Juried Art Show

Friday, April 4th

Where: Burton Barr Phoenix Library

1221 N. Central Ave.

This event is open to the public. It is a unique celebration of creativity, passion, and hope for patients that endure Parkinson every day. All of these pieces of art in exhibition were made for people with Parkinson. A lot of the work is the result of art courses offered by the MAPC in the Phoenix Metro Area.

Program:

2:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Painting Demonstrations – 2nd Floor

3:00 – 3:20 p.m.: Awards Ceremony and Refreshments – 1st Floor inside the auditorium

3:20 – 4:00 p.m.: Inaugural Concert of “United Voices” and “The Original Tremble Clefs” – 1st Floor inside the auditorium.

4:00 – 4:10 p.m.: Final Observations

4:10 – 5:00 p.m.: Exhibition will remain open until library’s closing time
