Phoenix Public Library Seeks Proposals for "Expressively Frida" Exhibit

Burton Barr Central Library is seeking proposals from local artists for an exhibition of paintings honoring Frida Kahlo, curated by the Phoenix Fridas. “Expressively Frida” will be on display July 1 – August 3 in the library, located at 1221 N. Central Ave. Proposals are being accepted from Arizona residents, 18 yearsor older. Deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Friday, June 6.
Up to 15 proposals will be selected for exhibition. Due to limited space, not all proposals will be accepted. All work should be of Frida Kahlo or related to her, and should be two dimensional.
