Considered by some to be one of the greatest modern choreographers in history, George Balanchine left a strong, notable legacy of work that only a select few are allowed to perform. Fortunately for the Ballet Arizona, one of those select few happens to be its very own artistic director, Ib Anderson. If you think ballet is all high-brows and tutus, think again. Come watch as the company at Ballet Arizona bring to life some of Balanchine’s most iconic works, in what is one of the most anticipated performances of the season.
