Courtier Brings Art, Fashion to Phoenix

Courtier Model and Talent Management announced The Live Style Weekend, a three-day, multi-platform event taking place Sept. 13-15 in Phoenix. Venues include The Mint AZ, the Mesa Art Center, and the W Hotel. The LIVE STYLE Weekend is the must-attend event for anyone interested in the business behind fashion, art, music and entertainment. Designers, photographers, models, recording artists, record labels, stylists, make-up artists and distributors who attend will gain the experience and expertise to take their careers to the next level. Attendees will have opportunities to learn, to share, to showcase their work, and to network with both peers and professionals.

Sept. 13: Art Walk

The Art Walk Exhibition will showcase local artists’ talents through various forms including live body painting, sculpting, carvings, abstract paintings, and other forms of visual arts. Artistic performances will be accompanied by wine tasting, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres.

Sept. 14 : The Music Talent Show

50 contestants will have one shot to perform in front of the Sr.Vice Presidents from Cotash Money/ YMCMB, IME, RCA and Aphilliates Music Group, for the opportunity to become a signed artist. These top contestants will be selected at the Saltmine Studios, during the preliminary auditions on Saturday Aug. 31 at 10 a.m.31st at 

Sunday Sept. 15 : Model Wars Fashion Show Battle Competition

Model Wars will be the first time fashion designers have participated in a runway battle competition in Phoenix. This event will provide designers with an opportunity to be as creative as their abilities allow. Twenty designers will be picked to participate in the show. The designers will organize their own team (models, hairstylist, and makeup artist) and concept for the show in order to compete against each other. Ultimately, the judges will choose a winner who will be crowned “The Best Fashion Team on the Runway.”
