The Second Annual CPLC Arizona Homebuyers Expo will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Phoenix Convention Center. Housing industry non-profits and for-profits will come together under one roof to advise potential homeowners how to get the best deals on homes.

Real estate experts say the Phoenix metro housing market is recovering faster than other U.S. cities, bolstered by a 34 percent upswing in home prices and a decrease in the number of houses on the market. The Expo is an opportunity for CPLC to connect potential home buyers with the many housing programs currently available and to provide the necessary tools for clients to make educated decisions when purchasing a home.

Last year, more than 1,300 people attended the event. “The potential homebuyers attending will include military veterans, Millennials, first-time buyers, ‘Empty-nesters’ seeking to downsize, and renters looking to buy affordable homes,” said Cece San Diego, Director of CPLC NSP2 Arizona. “In addition to free housing information and seminars, local small businesses will offer their services and products to all attendees.”

Now is the time for businesses and non-profits to build relationships with potential home buyers. Remaining booth space is limited to join this year’s Expo. For sponsorship opportunities interested businesses can call (602) 257-6749 or email NspEvents@CPLC.org. For more information on the Expo please visit www.AZHomeExpo.org.

CPLC is committed to ensuring that a safe, secure, affordable home is available to every individual it serves through its housing programs. CPLC is proud to have led a national consortium that was awarded over $137 million in federal funding to revitalize markets in 8 states. HUD recognized CPLC for its fiscally responsible success in meeting the goals of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2.
